Starcraft II has been canceled. Instead, Blizzard has decided to put their focus on what they believe would be a more successful product: Solar System of Starcraft. You'll get to control a Terran, Zerg, or Protoss unit, exploring the solar system and taking on a wide range of quests from gathering 10 barrels of vespene gas to killing 10 zerglings. The release is planned for 2012, but an anonymous Blizzard insider leaked that they are expecting that date to be pushed back.
